A high quality tarp that measures 24′ x 27′ with an eight foot drop an 8′ x 8′ tail and 8″ rain flaps will weight approximately one-hundred and ten pounds. The fabric will be constructed of commercial grade 18 ounce vinyl and the seams will be heat sealed in order to make the tarp 100% waterproof. A good tarp will have solid brass grommets, generally clinched every 2′ with three rows of ‘D’ rings box stitched. These rings will be stitched with small flaps over them so that sharp objects from harnessing straps will not damage the tarp in any way.
